You are warmly invited to a tasting of craft teas and gins at the City of London Distillery! Lalani & Co London, specialists in craft single-batch teas from independent and family run gardens, have teamed up with the City of London Distillery, small-batch micro-distillers making gin here in London. This is a chance to taste some exquisite drinks, and learn about how tea and gin are made.
Tickets cost £8 per person. Everyone who attends on the day will receive an £8 voucher from us to use at lalaniandco.com, and an £8 voucher from the City of London Distillery.
The event will begin with a tasting of 3 magnificent Taiwanese teas which are made from the same leaves on the same garden in the same year: The Green Heart 2021, QX 2021, and Honey Black 2021. This horizontal tasting will highlight the effect of craft on a tea.
You’ll then crossover with a tea and gin cocktail, followed by a tasting of three gins made by the City of London Distillery right there in their distillery: Whitley Neill Connoisseur’s Cut, Whitley Neill Blood Orange, Whitley Neill Pink Grapefruit.
